July 11, 2014

A baby monkey with head trauma was brought to JCT with involuntary incardination and movement. One night during this monsoon this monkey baby somehow slipped out of the cage and was lying on the floor drenched in water noticed by our doctor during his regular rounds of the aviary. He immediately wrapped the baby in a dry towel and dried him off in time. He also kept the baby monkey on a heating pad to bring his temperature back to normal, which soon did. The monkey’s body temperature came back to normal. After sometime when it gained consciousness it was made to have some milk and a banana and was keep warm in the cage equipped with a heater. The money was back to his normal state the next day and is on its way to a speedy recovery.
