OVERVIEW

Every day, Jivdaya Charitable Trust receives many cases where dogs are suffering from severe wounds, illnesses or disease with Road Accidents, Lipoma, Tumour, Cancer, Hematoma, Ascites, Abscess, Tick Fever, Mange, Flea Allergies and many other problems due to live on the streets. Eating leftover from garbage or trash bin cause poor health and low immunity in them.

Many cases need to undergo surgeries like Soft Tissue, Orthopaedic or other minor surgeries. Depending on the pace of their healing process the cases could take more than months to recover completely. During this period, these patients need regular monitoring, check-ups, dressing and bandaging, physiotherapy, round the clock medication with balanced nutrias diet. keeping their needs in mind, JCT has developed its ‘Dog Kennel’ where 85 to 100 patients can be admitted and treated at a time. This project will fund the treatment & welfare of all these indoor stray dogs who endure life-threatening injuries and ailments on the streets of Ahmedabad, India through-out the year.

  • To treat all homeless & ownerless strays who are in need
  • To provide close monitoring, regular treatment, physiotherapy, dressing etc by admitting the injured or diseased patients in our hospital.
  • To provide proper medication, balanced diet & care to treat patients for a fast recovery

  • Close monitoring in a confined treatment area will improve the patient’s health rapidly
  • Any complications can be taken care by specialized staffs immediately
  • Regular bandaging and medication heal the wound faster
  • Pre and Post surgery care and monitoring the improvement will be easy to measure
  • There are no chances of spreading any seasonal or Zoonotic disease from one affected dog to the entire community
