Leucistic White Peacock

May 2, 2014

There’s something fantastic and pure about the white peacock.

This is by far the most popular, and perhaps the most beautiful, of all the colored mutations.

This peacock has the same enormous tail feathers as its relatives, but without an ounce of color: the whole bird is pure white.

In fact, they have something called leucism. Leucism is when the cells lack the ability to make any pigment whatsoever. That’s the reason behind them being so beautifully Pure White.

How many Likes for this Magnificent Bird..!!
